Book Cover Design

I have been designing a book cover for a friend who is writing a book called Scarlet Sunrise.
this is what I produced she prefers the black sun light but many people and I prefer the white sun light as it is lot more sutler and matches with the background well.

This a background photograph of sun sets and sun rise I took during the summer as my own work and get the right image and texture I wanted.



This is the design I came up with but and Esme who is writing the book likes the black a lot.

Made this a lot simpler and small its not too in your face but I don't like the black



The white works much better and again the smaller design brings its simplicity

I don't like the bar code white as background spoils it
