I think the white card works best but i will look for something more texture white paper as the white card might be to hard to crease the card. It might ruin the professionalism.
These are my test pieces for my Anniversary cards I have also tested on three types of stock. white card a grainy sort of cards and a light a grey paper.
I think next time I need to make the typography lines thicker so it can pick up the foil. It might look better thinner but the foil doesn't pick it up.
I found some worked better than other's, so I have have to produce a the couple of the same and pick the better foiled. I will be doing this on my final pieces.
